From May 10 – 12, 2017 the AFEL project and advisory board meeting took place at the L3S Research Center in Hannover.
The project members discussed the current state of work packages as well as presentations and demos of the AFEL project in preparation for the advisory board meeting which took place as part of this meeting on May 11, 2017.
The first day kicked off with a quick round of presentations from all six work packages. The rest of the day was spent reviewing and preparing the agenda for the upcoming advisory meeting.
On the second day, it was time for the advisory board meeting with the three advisory board members Claudia Hauff, Graham Attwell, and Tobias Ley. The AFEL project partners took turns to explain the theory, the technology and the users of AFEL to the advisory board, followed by quick demos of implemented applications and an outlook on the next planned steps. At the end of the day, the advisory board was able to give extensive and valuable feedback to the project and its members.
